21 (Free Throw Version)

  • Each player will shoot two free throws and then move around till the other players have completed their free throws.
  • The scoring goes:
    • 1 point: If the ball hits the backboard at any time and goes in
    • 2 points: If the ball it’s the ring at any time and goes in
    • 3 points: If the ball swishes (only touches the net)
    • For a missed free throw, you can go -1 or count as no score 
  • The players must get the exact score of 21 (or a score of your choosing) to win the game
  • If a player is on a score of 19 and swishes their next shot, they have gone over 21, and must go to the score of 15

Bonner Drill

  • All players will have a basketball each or share all available if there is not enough
  • If a player misses any of the following shots, they will sit out and wait until the next round, and the players that make the shot will move onto the next round
  • The players start with making a right- and left-handed layup
  • Players remaining will have to make a free throw and then a shot between the free throw line and 3-point line
  • Players remaining will have to make two 3-pointers
  • Players remaining will have to make another shot from between the free throw line and 3-point line and another free throw
  • Players remaining will have to make a left- and right-hand layup to win the game
  • Tip: Distract the players remaining!

Around the World

  • One player will start the round by shooting at the lowest mark of the keyway
  • Once a player misses, the next player will get a chance. If the player makes the shot, they get to move onto the next spot and shoot again
  • The players will shoot from each spot around the keyway. If there are not spots on the keyway available, use cones to mark the spots for players to shoot from
  • Once a player makes a shot from every spot, they win!

Golf

  • Your team will be split up into groups of 4 or 5 max
  • Each player will shoot 2 free throws and do 9 rounds
  • If a player swishes the ball, they subtract 1 from their score
  • If a player makes the free throw, it results in a 0
  • If a player misses the free throw, the player will add 1 to their score
  • The player with the lowest score wins
  • If there is a tie, it is a one shot shoot out. Whoever has the best make will win!
